Disneyland is actually the first one, between the more famous amusement parks that I visited. As the name says – this Disney theme park is definitely the best present that every parents could give to their children. According to the board from 2005, that you could find in Disneyland Hong Kong: “To all who come to this happy place, welcome. Fifty years ago, Walt Disney introduced the world to enchanted realms of fantasy and adventure, yesterday and tomorrow, in a magical place called Disneyland. Today that spirit of imagination and discovery comes to life in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Disneyland is dedicated to the young and the young at heart…”. This is definitely the truth, since my whole family enjoyed here. I visited it twice, during my visits to Hong Kong and I just love it. Hong Kong Disneyland Resort located on Penny’s Bay, Lantau Island. Actually, this is the largest theme park in Hong Kong.
The park has many visitors, all the time. So, I recommend to plan visiting during working days, because additional crowd for the weekends. I suggest starting with exploring the park early in the morning, since there is a lot to see for the whole day. The park consists of more themed areas, such as: Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Grizzly Gulch, Toy Story Land and others.
One of the most impressive attraction for me was the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars, which is actually a speedy rollercoaster all around and inside the mountain. This rollercoaster really is not for everyone and not for the young children, you will see the rules before the entrance. On the other hand, here you could find plenty attractions for younger kids. One of them is the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, that is a slowly ride through some of the most beloved scenes and settings of Winnie the Pooh. Here you cold fine really different kind of attractions and performances. So, we liked watching a 3D Disney cartoon. We liked Jungle River Cruise and a performance with a lot of actors in this Jungle area.
I don’t like to tell you all, since you will discover all this amazing things by yourself and you will definitely enjoy. The area of Disneyland is always additionally decorate, depending on the time of the year. Since my last visit has been during period of Halloween, there were pumpkins all around. Also, we saw many different “creatures” walking through the park.
In the park area, you could find more different restaurants and fast foods. So, we have our lunch here. Additionally, there is a lot of Disney stores with themed cloths and toys from famous cartoons. All stores are so cozy and I has the feeling of being of Santa’s workshop.
Additionally, it is „must“ to wait for the park’s closing time to enjoy in spectacular fireworks – above the famous castle, the same as you can see at the beginning of each Disney cartoon. It happens every day in the same time (it was 8 p.m.). So, you will definitely love this beautiful Park. “Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.”
